1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bulk Receipt Scanner, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Bulk Receipt Scanner provides:

Receipt scanning that extracts structured data from photos, including multiple receipts in a single photo
AI-powered data extraction via third-party providers
Receipt review, editing, and management
Export to CSV (QuickBooks, generic, and line-item formats)
Shared team workspaces
Subscription-based access billed through Square

3. User Accounts

You can sign in with a magic-link email, or with Google or Apple. You are responsible for:

Maintaining secure access to your email account and credentials
Not sharing sign-in links or credentials with others
All activity that occurs under your account

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information
Use the service lawfully
Only scan receipts and documents you have the right to process
Not upload others' sensitive or confidential information without permission

5. AI Receipt Processing — Important Limitations

Critical terms:

No privacy guarantee: We send your receipt images to third-party AI providers. We cannot and do not guarantee the privacy or security of any data you submit.
Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for deciding whether it is appropriate to scan any particular receipt or document.
Assumption of risk: You assume all risks associated with sending data to third-party AI services.
No liability: We are not liable for any disclosure, use, or misuse of your data by AI providers.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Square and renew automatically until cancelled. The Team plan supports multiple seats. Cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) $99.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. For any dispute:

First step: Contact our support team. Most issues can be resolved through good-faith discussion.
Small claims: For disputes under $5,000, either party may use small claims court in Tennessee, USA.
Larger disputes: For disputes over $5,000, the parties agree to attempt mediation in Tennessee, USA before proceeding to court.
